Intermediate Coach Training is a two-evening event. You must be a 12U Coach, have taken Summary Laws of the Game, and have completed the online Intermediate Coach 14U (part 2) course thru AYSOU. The in-class training is on Monday, April 29th from 6pm to 9pm at Halecrest Clubhouse: 3107 Killybrooke Lane Costa Mesa CA 92626. Park on the street or in the Killybrooke Elementary School parking lot. Enter Halecrest thru the front doors and the class is to the immediate right. To take the online Intermediate Coach Course log into ayso120.org. Click on AYSOU on the left-hand tab. Click on “Training Library” then “Coaching” and choose “Intermediate Coach 14U Online Part 1 + In-Person Part 2”. To sign into the in-person “Intermediate Coach 14U (part 2) In person course 2 nights” once in AYSOU click on “Training Events” and click on Monday, 4/29 and our course name.

You will demonstrate your training plan on Monday, May 13th from 6pm to 9pm on the field at Jack Hammett Sports Complex Field #1. We will walk you thru the training plan process in the first class. JHSC is located at 2750 Fairview Rd Costa Mesa, CA 92626. You must text or email your training plan to the class contact by Monday, May 6th.  In order to be a certified Intermediate Coach you must also be current in your SafeSport training, have a current background check, and have completed AYSO Safe Haven, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion Awareness Training and have fingerprints on record thru Livescan and AYSO.
